Dia das Montras (Window Shops Day)

Dia das Montras, also known as traditional commerce day, takes place on December 8th, a day in which the Immaculate Conception is also celebrated.

For decades now, the local commerce decorates their window shops with Christmassy motifs, along with their finest products, to attract customers into buying their Christmas presents there.

All of the streets are decorated according to the season, including the main church of Matriz.
