Founded in 1866, at the São José parish, it’s the oldest tobacco factory and one of the first investors was José Bensaúde. It was nationalized in April 1974 and then bought by a group of Azorean investors in 1995.
It produces cigarettes, cigarillos and cigars using traditional techniques.
